MASTERING

Requirements

Preferred Format:
Stereo WAV, 32-bit floating point, non-dithered, at the project’s native sample rate, preferably 48 kHz or higher.
Minimum Acceptable Format:
Stereo WAV, 32-bits, 44.1kHz
Dynamics : 
Avoid any processing that significantly alters transient shape or overall dynamics except as this is intentional and an integral part of your sound.
Exporting in 32 bits allows signal levels above 0 dBFS to be preserved without clipping. Do not add a limiter or clipper on the master bus solely to keep the mix below 0 dBFS. 
Creative master-bus processing that is essential to the intended sound should remain enabled.

Artistic approach : 

In order to ensure the best understanding of your project and to meet your expectations, I'll send you a form to fill in with some questions and reference tracks prior to any mastering session.

Process:

Upon reception of the filled-in form (contains a link to a folder to upload the tracks) i'll get the masters done except if some mix revisions are needed to meet your expectations and reference tracks. If so, then i'll send you an email with precise notes to adjust the mix prior to the mastering. 

Deliverables:
Please let me know which deliverables you require (digital, streaming, vinyl, DDP, radio edit, instrumental, acapella, etc.). Each project is quoted according to its delivery requirements.

Mixing

Requirements

I need to receive stems in proper audio format 32 bits 48kHz max length 15 minutes (if longer this will lead to a separate specific contract)
These should contain no clips, no double files. If so an additional fee will be charged depending on the exact extra amount of work/loss of time this will cause

Artistic approach : 

Please write me a few lines about how you feel about your own track, what you want to express, what is the context behind it or what was your mindset while writing it.
Send me 3 example tracks with a little line about what you really like about it (sonic wise, not musically of course) to help me see the direction you expect from my mix

Process:

I’ll first read your explanations, listen to your sound examples and load the stems into a project, all channels at unity gain. From there I'll write you a few lines back to explain what differences I hear and the direction I intend to take to achieve the expected results, and if needed explanations of things to bounce otherwise (example remove reverb from a stem, having two tracks being bounced together as one stem, …)  Once all proper audio files are received I’ll start working on it. I’ll send you first a 30sec example to validate you agree with the direction taken. If not, we have room here to discuss and to adapt things to your taste. Once agreed on this sample result you’ll be able to proceed to the payment in order to receive the full length version of your mixed track.

These are pretty personal projects and require more discussions on your needs, your expectations, your project timeline (and your deadlines).
For all these specific demands we need to set up a proper call beforehand in order to define exactly where you are and where you want to go.
